Tripla uses only the data needed to sign you in, connect your Tesla account, record trips, show maps and stats, and export your own mileage records.

Data Tripla uses
- Account email, authentication identifiers, and sign-in provider information.
- Tesla OAuth connection data, vehicle identifiers, vehicle names, and connection status.
- Vehicle state, location points, trip summaries, route details, tags, stats, export filters, and app settings.
- Support messages you send to support@tripla.one.
Why it is used
Tripla uses this data to provide the app: account access, Tesla connection, automatic trip detection, route maps, route replay, statistics, CSV exports, support, security, and account or data deletion.
The legal basis is usually performance of the app service under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Security, abuse prevention, and basic server logs may rely on legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Legal obligations may rely on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Service providers
- Supabase: authentication, database, storage of trip data, and server functions.
- Google: optional Google sign-in.
- Tesla: Tesla account authorization and vehicle data access.
- Vercel: hosting for the public website and auth callback page.
- CookieYes: cookie consent banner and consent preference management for the public website.
- Apple: App Store distribution, iOS platform services, and maps shown in the app.
These providers may process data in the EU, the United States, or other locations. Where required, Tripla relies on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and device storage
The public Tripla website uses CookieYes to show the cookie banner, manage consent choices, and remember those choices. CookieYes may store a consent cookie or similar technical identifier for this purpose.
The website does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. If Tripla later adds analytics or marketing tools, they will be listed in the cookie banner and will only load after consent where required.
The app and authentication flows may use local device storage or provider cookies that are necessary for sign-in, session security, Tesla authorization, and the service you request.
Retention
Trip data is kept while your account exists or until you delete it in the app. Support emails are kept as long as needed to answer and document the request. Server logs are kept for security and operations for a limited period.
Your choices
You can disconnect Tesla, delete trip history, and delete your Tripla account in the app. You can also contact support for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or other privacy requests.
Tripla does not sell personal data and does not use it for advertising.
